HMP's business model focuses on comprehensive solutions for our customers. Our diverse machining and manufacturing capabilities have grown in partnership with our customers as their needs have changed. The result of this process has been the development of our Customized Outsourcing Solutions program.

HMP's executives and senior staff are experienced in helping our customers determine how to outsource their non-core manufacturing operations. We work with our customers to design a unique process that works for that customer. The process evolves as both parties gain confidence in the relationship and additional products are added.

Our customers recognize that machining and related manufacturing are often not their core competencies. As a result, they shift their financial, personnel, and facilities resources away from these non-core activities, and entrust HMP to become their manufacturing partner.

Customer Profile
HMP's typical customer is an Original Equipment Manufacturer of niche commercial or industrial products with sales of under $200 Million. We form substantial supply relationships with our customers who typically purchase between $50,000 to $1,000,000 per year from HMP.

Customer InventoryInventory Management
Our sourcing arrangements often include stocking by HMP, guaranteed lead times (typically a few days), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), emergency service in cases of unanticipated needs (night and weekend production), annual or quarterly purchase forecasting, and many other time and cost saving initiatives.

It is HMP's goal to eliminate or assume as much of our customers' purchasing overhead as possible. It is HMP's policy to assign a single point of contact within HMP to each of our customers, which ensures coordinated and reliable communications.

Understanding our Customer's Business
HMP works with its customers to understand their total needs, including pricing, quality and delivery. HMP will invest in appropriate machinery, equipment, and information technology to allow our customers to achieve their goals, including transfer of their assets to our facility.

Our relationships generally involve multi-year supply contracts, which define the responsibilities of both parties. However, the key to HMP's success in implementing its business model relies on the confidence that our customers have in us to perform and deliver on our promises.
