Quality System
HMP's ISO 9001:2000 Registration requires that periodic internal and external audits be performed to ensure that our systems and documentation are in compliance. Our QA procedures are documented in a comprehensive Quality Systems manual, and include incoming, in-process and final inspection.

Our QC lab includes a new OGP optical projector, a Mitutoyo toolmaker's microscope, surface profilometer and a complete complement of both custom and standard certified and calibrated gages.

Engineering Our engineering capabilities include design for manufacturing, AutoCAD computer aided drafting and Esprit CNC programming/CAM system. We work closely with our customers to assist in designing parts and products that meet their requirements, and are economical to manufacture.

Information Systems HMP has invested in state-of-the-art information systems to ensure integrity of its data and to facilitate efficient communications, both internally and externally with its customers and supply chain partners. Our IBM Netfinity 7000 RAID server together with two other NT servers, drive our 30 user network. HMP uses the fully integrated Windows based Made2Manage ERP system to manage its operations. Near-term upgrades will include customer access to their data through our web site. In addition, our employees make extensive use of high-speed internet access, e-mail and employ Microsoft Office applications.
