Secondary Turning
Parts that require secondary turning, forming or back working can be machined on our six-spindle or single spindle chuckers.

Secondary Drill/Tap/Mill Our 6 station Jamieson Rotomat 6/60 rotary transfer machine is equipped with 4 horizontal drill/tap heads, 3 vertical drill/tap heads and a cross milling head. The machine can perform up to eight operations simultaneously, with cycle times typically under 10 seconds. The fixturing consists of self-centering jaws and the machine is programmable using a PLC system.

Grinding/Threading HMP's centerless grinding capabilities include both through-feed and in-feed machines. Our grinding operations include sharpening, close tolerance (0.0003") or cosmetic applications. Our Waterbury and Kinefac threaders are capable of threading or knurling up 1" diameter parts.

Metal Stamping To support supplier consolidation by our customers, HMP has developed stamping capabilities, with in-house tool/die making and maintenance. Our 60 and 32 Ton automatic presses are coil fed and equipped with straighteners. Additional stamping presses (up to 50 Ton) are used for secondary operations and assembly.

Assembly and Packaging HMP uses customized vibratory bowl feeding systems for both assembly and packaging of customer products. Our extensive experience in mechanical assembly and packaging includes rotary blister sealing and in-line skin carding.
