HMP has made a commitment to provide comprehensive services to our customers. Our CNC Machining capabilities allow us to provide complex, close tolerance, low to medium volume parts at economical prices. We are committed to continually update and broaden our machine tool technology. Typical runs in our CNC department range from a few hundred to tens of thousands.

Swiss Turning
Our new STAR SR-20R Swiss turning center with an integrated LNS bar loader is capable of making complex parts up to 20mm (25/32") diameter around the clock. With live cross working tools, full C-axis, sub-spindle and live back working tools, extremely complex and close tolerance (+/-0.0005") parts can be machined.

Conventional Turning Our new Super KIAturn21 turret lathe with an integrated LNS bar loader is capable of manufacturing parts up to 2-1/2" in diameter using a 12-tool turret system. For machining of larger diameter parts and secondary operations, our Mori Seiki SL-3 turret lathe is a rugged, precise machine tool.

Machining Centers HMP has expertise in machining castings and turned blanks on two types of machining centers. The Hyundai SPT V30TD vertical Drill/Tap center uses a super fast chip-to-chip 14-tool turret system, 11.7"x19.5" table size and a rotating pallet changer to achieve high productivity on drilling, tapping, reaming and milling operations. For heavier duty milling and parts requiring indexing for OD machining, our Fadal VMC15 with a 20"x16" table would be the right choice.
